Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Augusta, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,720 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Augusta, Georgia, 30901! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Valid nursing license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Experience in renal medical-surgical nursing - Proficiency in Epic charting system Description: The position requires a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience. First-time travelers are accepted. The patient population includes adults to geriatrics. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5-6. The unit has an average daily census of 48 patients. The facility comprises 49 rooms. General skills and work setting requirements focus on renal medical-surgical care. Required skills include telemetry, rapid response teams, and colostomy care. Additional competencies include feeding tube management and pre/post-hemodialysis care. The nurse will also administer blood products and manage central lines. Experience with IV maintenance and phlebotomy is essential. Wound care and oxygen administration skills are also required. Nurses are expected to float as needed and work every other weekend. Holidays are mandatory if they fall within the assignment period. Compliance with all documentation and requirements is essential for timely start. Full compliance is required to begin work on schedule. Application for this position requires two supervisory references. This role may require working during major holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Travelers must be available to work during these periods as scheduled.
