Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour night
shifts, 18:45 - 07:15; 36 hours per week; every other weekend
required Highlights: PICU experience required with focus on
neurology post-operative care 8-10 bed specialized pediatric unit
serving patients ages 0-17 years Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2
based on acuity, sometimes 1:3 13-week assignment; flexible
scheduler who works with travelers Epic charting system utilized
Float as needed within the facility based on census and skill set
Requirements: Minimum 2 years of PICU nursing experience required
BLS and PALS certifications current and in good standing NC or
Compact nursing license (must be active by start date) First-time
travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience Neurology
experience, chemotherapy administration, IV placement, and lab draw
skills preferred Epic charting experience required Flu vaccine
required (medical/religious exemptions only) Why It's a Great

only pediatric board-certified neurosurgeon. Patient Population:
Pediatric patients ages 0-17 years with diverse diagnoses Common
conditions: respiratory illnesses, neurosurgery post-op,
hematology/oncology cases Unit manages high-acuity PICU cases and
occasionally functions as an intermediate care unit based on
patient needs Daily census: 5-8 patients Additional Details: No
call requirement Scrubs: Pediatric-friendly tops with navy blue
pants or navy scrubs (not provided) Pre-approved time off: Maximum
7 days (excludes holidays and first week of orientation) Candidates
must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays Local
