About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health
to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Augusta, Georgia, 30901! Job
Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical
Surgical Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12
Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS
Must-Have: 1. Previous charge experience preferred. 2. Patient
ratio experience of 5-6 patients per nurse. 3. Proficiency in the
electronic charting system. Description: Minimum experience
required is 1 year. First-time travelers are accepted. Patient
population includes adults to geriatrics. The unit handles renal
medical surgical cases. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5-6. The
average daily census is 48 patients. There are 49 rooms available.
Staffing includes interdisciplinary support from various teams.
Traveling staff are expected to work on major holidays, if
applicable. Compliance is required for timely start. No floating or
call requirements. Weekend coverage is mandatory every other
weekend. Full compliance is essential to begin the assignment on
time. Local candidates are accepted. RTO requests are limited to a
maximum of 7 days. Supervisory references are preferred. All
candidates must hold a valid license during the application
process. No discriminatory criteria will be used in the hiring
process. Additional skills required include: - Telemetry experience
- Blood product administration - IV management - Wound care - Use
of rapid response teams - Comfort with various medical equipment
