Opportunity Details Medicus has partnered with a hospital in eastern South Carolina that has an opening for a skilled Hospital Medicine physician to provide locum coverage. Opening Details: - Schedule: 7a-7p, 7 on/7 off - Call Requirement: 24-hour shifts, every other day - Daily Census: 10-22 patients per physician, 21 total - 6-bed open ICU - Must read EKGs and do stress tests - Will handle all admissions from the ED and calls on floor patients - Procedures preferred, but not required - Support Staff: Additional Hospitalist - EMR: Epic - Must be board-certified or board-eligible - Paid travel & expenses During your time off, visit locally owned shops and diners, relax in community parks, and paddle or fish calm stretches of nearby rivers.
