RN in Augusta, Georgia, 30901! Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse,
Progressive Care / Medical-Surgical Telemetry – Georgia Start Date:
February 9, 2026 Location: Augusta, Georgia Compensation: Details
provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 13-week assignment;
every other weekend required; maximum 7 days of time off
Highlights: Mixed stepdown unit caring for medical-surgical
telemetry and intermediate care patients including neuro,
respiratory, and cardiac populations Patient ratio of 1:4-5 with
assignments ranging from all PCU, all MS/Tele, or a combination
based on acuity Experience with titrating cardiac drips, telemetry
monitoring, and managing vasoactive drips required Epic charting
system with Pyxis and SBAR protocols Floating within facility as
needed; no call requirements First-time travelers welcomed with a
minimum of 1 year of experience Requirements: Active Georgia or
Compact State RN license (must be in hand prior to submission)
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
Experience with telemetry, cardiac drips (including titration),
PCU/stepdown care, and neuro patient populations Proficiency in
dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product
administration, central line care, IV therapy, and airway
management including BiPAP and high-flow nasal cannula Two
supervisory references from Manager level or above highly preferred
Full compliance documentation required prior to start date; flu
vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only Why It's a
