POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner
or Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage in a busy Medical
Oncology practice in Greenville, SC. Join a collaborative team of
oncologists and APPs within a well-respected free-standing cancer
center serving adult and geriatric patients. SCHEDULE & CALL Dates:
Feb 1, 2026 – Sept 30, 2026 Call Responsibilities: First call for
patient phone calls and hospital phone calls Tues 4:30 pm – 8:00 am
Fri 4:30 pm – Mon 8:00 am In-person rounding on Saturday & Sunday
Call Ratio: 1 rotation every 5–6 weeks (dependent on staffing)
Requirements PATIENT POPULATION Adult & Geriatric
Hematology/Oncology Breakdown: 65% benign hematology 35% malignant
oncology 0% internal medicine TEAM STRUCTURE Physicians: 8 APPs: 4
PATIENT VOLUME Outpatient: ~15 patients/day Inpatient
(Call/Rounding): ~20 patients/day CLINICAL SCOPE Outpatient
Oncology Inpatient Oncology (Call) Management of bone marrow
transplants Blood bank responsibilities Ordering labs, tests, and
imaging Prescribing Chemotherapy administration handled by RN
Oncology staff EMR: EPIC REQUIREMENTS Board Certified in Hematology
& Oncology – REQUIRED Active SC license (or willingness to obtain)
– REQUIRED BLS – REQUIRED DEA – REQUIRED CREDENTIALING Estimated
timeframe: ~60 days Benefits TRAVEL & EXPENSES COVERED Flight Hotel
