Benign/Classical Hematology Opportunity in Charlotte, NCFull TimePermanent PositionHospital EmployedSeeking BC/BE Hematologist join team in Charlotte, North CarolinaHighlights:Busy, non-malignant hematology practice located in Charlotte, NCIntegrated Network Cancer Program affiliated with malignant hematologySignificant referral base from primary care and specialty physicians in the Novant Health networkClinical position with optional research opportunitiesEstablished team of 1 physician and 3 advanced practice providers (APPs)Excellent support from pathology, blood bank, radiology, ICU, and other specialist servicesBrand new multi-million dollar Cancer Institute building in uptown CharlotteStrong emphasis on clinical research; expanding services include benign and malignant hematology, stem cell transplant, cellular therapy, and integrative medicineAdult Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) designation for advanced hemophilia careCandidate Qualifications:Board-certified or board-eligible in HematologyInternal Medicine board certification/eligibility with experience or interest in non-malignant blood disorders also consideredStrong interest or experience in caring for hemophilia, sickle cell disease, and other bleeding disordersOpen to both new graduates and experienced candidatesResponsibilities & Duties:Provide comprehensive hematology care to adult patients (ages 18)Manage non-malignant blood disorders including venous thromboembolism, sickle cell disease, hemophilia, and anemiaCollaborate with APPs and other oncology/hematology specialistsPotential to participate in clinical research trialsBenefits & Perks:Two-year salary guaranteeRelocation allowanceContinuing Medical Education (CME) allowanceComprehensive medical and retirement benefitsPaid leave benefitsMalpractice coverageEmphasis on work-life balance
