ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Augusta, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 14 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • 36 or 48 hour guaranteed shifts • Medical Surgical Unit with remote telemetry and potential medical surgical diagnoses • Patient ratio of 1:6 on a 38-bed unit with average daily census of 33 • Patient population includes adolescents to geriatrics • Work every other weekend with floating required to other similar units • No call requirements • Holiday work required based on assignment period (work 1-2 holidays if they fall during assignment) • Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed • Navy blue scrubs required • Must have minimum 1 year experience (first timers accepted) • BLS certification required • Epic charting system experience required, also use Pyxis and SBAR • 24 hours of orientation provided • Georgia or Compact license required • Must complete core items and labs within 48 hours of signing contract • Two supervisory references highly preferred at submission • Skills include blood product administration, central line blood draw, chest tubes, colostomy care, CPAP/BiPAP, feeding tube management, heparin, insulin, isolation precautions, telemetry monitoring, wound care, and IV management Facility: This healthcare facility operates a 38-bed medical surgical unit providing comprehensive care for patients with various medical diagnoses.
