Job Title: CVOR Surgical Tech Profession: Nursing Specialty:
Surgical Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Day Shift Hours per
Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of OR experience in
specialty (RN, CST, CVOR RN, CVOR CST) License: Surgical Tech
License Certifications: BLS, National certification preferred
Must-Have: Strong and recent experience with CABG, TAVR, Vascular,
and Thoracic cases Description: CVOR Surgical Tech position
available. The facility has 13 operating rooms and one procedure
room. An average of 45 cases is performed daily. Patient types and
common diagnoses include: Cardiothoracic procedures like CABG, AVR,
MVR, Mini mitral, and Septal myomectomy. Vascular procedures such
as fistula creations, transcarotid revascularization, and bypasses.
Thoracic procedures include VATS, robotic resections, lobectomies,
and pericardial windows. Support within the department includes an
OR Assistant to aid during weekdays. Technology used includes EPIC
EMR and various medical devices. Floating may occur based on
department needs. Scrub colors are provided. Requirements Required
