16emergency medicine physicians and 9 advanced practice providers
deliveringhigh-quality emergency care in North Augusta, SC. Our
team features diverse expertise,ranging from recent graduates to
seasoned professionals, fostering acollaborative and supportive
environment. About the Role: Provide emergency care atMedical
Center, a 273-bed community hospital with a 30-bed
emergencydepartment, certified as a chest pain and stroke center.
Annual ED Volume: 43,000visits with 39 hours of daily physician
coverage and 30 hours of APP coverage. Deliver emergency care atThe
ER at Sweetwater, a 10-bed freestanding emergency department in
NorthAugusta, Georgia. Annual ER Volume: 23,000visits with 24 hours
of physician coverage and 12 hours of APP coverage. Engage in
hospitalcommittees, including credentials, sepsis, peer review, and
medical executiveteams, fostering strong connections with
specialists and a supportiveadministration. Participate in
teachingopportunities with APP students and internal and family
medicine residents. Work a flexible schedule asan independent
contractor. Compensation: $300 per hourfor days and $325 per hour
for night. $75,000 sign-on bonusavailable for full-time shift
commitment. Collaborate closely withcolleagues and consultants
while managing all aspects of community emergencymedicine.
Requirements: Board-certified/eligible inEmergency Medicine or
Family Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience. Authorized to
work in theUnited States. Full-time commitment as anindependent
