ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Augusta, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/26/2026 Duration: 14 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • 1:6 patient ratio on a 38-bed unit with average daily census of 33 • Work every other weekend with floating required to similar units • No call requirements • Required to work holidays based on assignment period (if one or two major holidays fall during assignment, work all; if three major holidays fall during assignment, work two) • Minimum 1 year experience required; first-time travelers accepted • BLS certification required • Epic charting system experience required (also uses Pyxis and SBAR) • Navy blue scrubs required • Maximum 7 days RTO allowed • 24 hours of orientation provided • Care for adolescent to geriatric patient population • Medical surgical unit with remote telemetry and potential medical surgical diagnoses • Skills include blood product administration, central line care, chest tubes, colostomy care, feeding tube management, telemetry monitoring, wound care, and IV management • Must complete compliance requirements by Tuesday prior to start date • Georgia or compact license required at time of submission • Two supervisory references highly preferred • Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive medical surgical unit with advanced technology and interdisciplinary support services.
