Traveler is seeking a Chemo Certified RN with at least 2 years of
experience and a current MO or Compact license for an Oncology
Med/Surg day shift assignment. Responsibilities - Work in the
Oncology unit of an acute care hospital - Day shift schedule with
three 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) - Every other
weekend is required - Must work at least 50% of holidays during the
contract - Mandatory floating to other units, including assignments
as a Patient Observer (Sitter) - Care for oncology patients
requiring chemo administration - Cerner EMR experience is preferred
but not required - Responsibilities include providing oncology
nursing care and administering chemotherapy - All time off must be
requested prior to the start of the assignment - Returnees within
18 months do not require re-orientation; a 9-month gap is required
between assignments to return as a traveler - Local candidates
within 75 miles are eligible to apply - Team members may float
based on patient care needs throughout the organization
Requirements - Active MO or Compact RN license required at time of
consideration - Chemo certification required - Minimum of 2 years
of RN experience and at least 1 year in oncology - Two professional
