Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 12/01/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring a MO or compact license and a minimum of two years of PICU experience. Responsibilities - Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) within a hospital setting - Care for critically ill pediatric patients - Night shift position with three 12-hour shifts per week, 19:00-07:30 - Floating to PCU or Med-Surg units is required - Mandatory 50% holiday coverage during the contract - Cerner EMR system is used; previous experience preferred but not required - All travelers are required to float, including as Patient Observers (Sitters) in other units - Returning travelers must have a minimum 9-month gap between assignments - Re-orientation is not required if returning within 18 months - Must work 50% of scheduled holidays during the contract - Local candidates within 75 miles are accepted at a reduced rate Requirements - Active MO or compact state RN license in hand at time of consideration - Current PALS and BLS certifications required - Minimum 2 years of total RN experience and at least 1 year of PICU experience required - TNCC certification is appreciated but not required Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-624631.
