Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/17/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring a MO or compact RN license and PALS certification. Responsibilities - Work in a general Pediatric ICU within a hospital setting - Care for critically ill pediatric patients - Day shift schedule, three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:30 - Floating to PCU or MS units as needed is required - Must work both Christmas and Christmas Eve during the contract - EMR system used is Cerner; prior experience is preferred but not required - Responsible for providing ICU nursing care to pediatric patients - All travelers must be willing to float, including as Patient Observers (sitters) throughout the organization - Must work at least 50% of holidays during the contract - Local candidates within a 75-mile radius accepted at a lower rate - Returning travelers require a 9-month gap between assignments to be eligible Requirements - Active MO or Compact RN license required at time of consideration - Current PALS and BLS certifications required - Minimum of 2 years overall RN experience, with at least 1 year in PICU - TNCC certification appreciated but not required Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-624629.
