About The Position We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a weekend locum tenens assignment in Kentucky, starting Oct 31, 2025. This is a 1-day contract with 24-hour out-of-house call coverage from Friday morning to Saturday morning, featuring a high callback volume and a focus on emergency OB/GYN cases, including C-sections and deliveries. Proficiency with Epic and Nextgen EMR systems is preferred. Job Details - Location: Kentucky - Start Date: Oct 31, 2025 - LOA: 1 day - Provider Type Needed: Obstetrician/Gynecologist - Schedule: 24-hour out-of-house weekend call, Friday 7AM to Saturday 7AM; high callback (typically 4-10 hours per day) Responsibilities and Duties - Provide 24-hour out-of-house call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology cases - Manage emergency OB and GYN cases, including NSTs and complex situations - Perform C-sections and oversee delivery care as needed - Respond to frequent callbacks as required by clinical volume - Utilize Epic and Nextgen for documentation and patient management Additional Information - Kentucky medical license required - Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required - Minimum 2 years of experience preferred, with demonstrated emergency OB and GYN expertise Benefits - Strong compensation - Travel-related expenses covered - A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided - Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
