Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist Profession: Allied Specialty: Ultrasound Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Night Shift - Fri-Sun Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year Ultrasound experience License: Required - BLS, ARDMS AB (preferred OB, BR, RVT) Certifications: National certification required Must-Have: Invasive procedure skills such as paracentesis and thoracentesis. General and vascular studies expertise, including ABI, upper and lower arterial, upper and lower venous studies. Experience with venous insufficiency, upper and lower extremity vein mapping, carotid, liver doppler, renal artery, and aorta evaluations. Familiarity with studies for appendix, intussusception, pyloric, breast limited evaluations, testicular, soft tissue, and hernia assessments. Support for first trimester OB cases. Description: The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations. On average, 10-14 scans are performed each day. This position involves caring for all patient populations, including ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient. The Ultrasound Technologist will perform ultrasound-guided invasive procedures. The role requires a collaborative approach, working alongside guest services for patient transport. Radiologist access will be available 24/7. Technology utilized includes EPIC and PACS systems. The position does not require floating to other facilities. The technologist will work primarily during weekend shifts, with 75% of holidays expected to be worked.
