PALS, NRP Must-Have: IPPV/NIPPV ventilator experience Description:
We are looking for a Respiratory Therapist to provide care for a
diverse patient population. The facility is a licensed level 1
pediatric trauma center and a teaching hospital. It is necessary to
have experience working with neonates, pediatrics, and adults as
needed. The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience
in Respiratory Therapy as part of a resource team. Floating to
various departments may be required based on regional needs and
scope of practice. Travelers will receive compensation for travel
time between facilities during floating. Work hours are 7 PM to 7
AM with a scheduling cycle of every 6 weeks. Weekend rotation is
expected every other week. Travelers will work 75% of holidays. Up
to 6 days off may be approved, excluding holidays, with the
requirement to extend the contract if hours are not met.
Department-specific equipment includes ventilators (IPPV/NIPPV) and
the EMR system is EPIC. The appropriate scrub color for this
position is royal blue.
