Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Neuro ICU required; 2 years overall experience preferred License: Must hold a valid state RN license Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; CPI preferred Must-Have: - Experience in ICU with strong Neuro checklist - Stroke experience required - Current licensure must be in hand at time of application - Two references from a charge nurse or above required Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care in a Neuro ICU environment. This position involves a patient ratio of 1:2. Floating to other ICU and Med Surg units is required. The RN is expected to work every other weekend and 50% of holidays during the contract period. Strong orientation in neurological assessments and interventions is necessary. Census may require floating to areas as a Patient Observer. Participation in modules during orientation is required. Candidates should be comfortable with additional responsibilities as needed. Medical and religious exemptions for vaccinations will be considered.
