Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Oncology Clinic Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 Years Required; Outpatient Oncology Experience Required License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: - Outpatient Oncology Experience - EPIC Experience Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on unit could possibly turn into a cancellation. This position requires a focus on triage with oncology experience. The nurse will communicate with patients in the clinic regarding care coordination. Responsibilities include calling patients with results, triaging phone calls, and providing patient education. Chemotherapy or infusion administration is not performed at this facility. Travelers will be assigned to 1-2 providers for coordination of care, patient education, and follow-up. Preferred candidates will have both outpatient oncology experience and EPIC experience; however, screening will be available for those with at least one of the two requirements. Candidates must bring their own stethoscope. There is no call requirement, but there may be a need to float to similar centers or clinics as needed. Weekend shifts are not required. The expected patient ratio is 20 visits per day and 4 rooms. Interviews will be conducted to ensure the best fit for the clinic. Flu vaccination is required with medical or religious exemptions only.
