qualified ER/Trauma RN in Augusta, Georgia, 30901! Pay Information
$1,775 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 12 weeks
Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 12 hours (15:00 - 03:00) Experience:
Minimum 2 years; first-time travelers not accepted License: GA or
Compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS
required Must-Have: General Emergency Department experience; high
acuity; Stroke and STEMI certified; Epic and Pyxis experience

emergency department serves a diverse patient population ranging
from adolescents to geriatrics. The unit is very large and busy,
with an average of 165-175 patients per day. The nurse-to-patient
ratio is 1:4 in a 59-bed emergency department. Travelers are
expected to work every other weekend. Holidays are expected based
on assignment periods; if one major holiday occurs, the traveler is
expected to work it. If two major holidays occur, the traveler must
work both. If three major holidays occur, the traveler will be
expected to work two of the holidays. Compliance is required to
start on time; non-compliance may result in pushback. Clinical
screen will be conducted to determine clinical fit; candidates must
meet specific guidelines. Modules will be non-billable and
completed during orientation. Orientation consists of 13 hours. Flu
vaccine is required, with medical or religious exemptions accepted.
