TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Charlotte, North Carolina, 28204! Pay Information $1,913 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro Intermediate Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (18:45 - 07:15) Experience: Minimum of 2 Years Experience, Neuro Experience Preferred License: NC or Compact License Required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH Must-Have: Telemetry skills Ventilator management IV start and drip administration Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly lead to cancellation. The unit will accept first-time travelers. Weekend requirements include 3 weekends every 6 weeks, for a total of 6 weekend shifts. Patient population includes neurological and medical intermediate patients. Staffing ratios are 1:4. The average daily census will not exceed 24 patients. Travelers must pass EKG testing prior to start. Candidates may float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby. Floating may be required to other intermediate and critical care areas based on skills and census. Travelers cannot work more than 5 consecutive days or exceed 60 hours in a week. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. RTO requests of 7 days or less can be auto-approved if it does not fall on a holiday. No RTO is allowed during the first week of the assignment. Candidates should be comfortable floating based on job requirements without restrictions. All candidates must have charting experience, with a preference for specific systems.
