As a Forensic Psychologist, you will conduct high-stakes, court-ordered evaluations that shape judicial outcomes and impact lives. Your expertise will guide assessments related to Competence to Stand Trial (CST), Criminal Responsibility (CR), aid-in-sentencing, and civil commitment due to mental illness.With a sharp clinical eye and deep understanding of legal standards, youll evaluate individuals with complex mental health needshelping the justice system make informed, ethical decisions while supporting the rights and care of those served.Key Responsibilities:Conducts Forensic EvaluationsPerforms court-ordered evaluations, including commitment and recommitment, Competence to Stand Trial (CST), Criminal Responsibility (CR), aid-in-sentencing, and civil commitment evaluations.Coordinates with Treatment Teams and CourtsConducts examinations related to CST and CR and collaborates with treatment teams and the judicial system.Supervises and TrainsSupervises and trains psychology students and provides education to the clinical team as necessary.Ensures Accurate and Timely DocumentationCompletes detailed, professional, and timely evaluations in compliance with facility policies and standards.Qualifications & Requirements:Education:Required: Ph.D. or Psy.
