*Certified Nursing Assistant - Lexington Medical Center Extended Care**Full Time and Part Time Opportunities Available*_*Full Time Sign-on Bonus: $3,000*_*Job Summary*Member of the nursing care team. Provides direct patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse. Provides patient support as directed for a variety of activities including (but not limited to): nutrition services, transport, daily hygiene, mobility, and data collection.*Minimum Qualifications**Minimum Education: *High School Diploma or 6-months experience*Required Certifications/Licensure: *CNA Certified in SC*Required Training: *None*Duties & Responsibilities** Participate in and receive the nursing report upon reporting for duty.* Assist residents with activities of daily living.* Assist in transporting residents to/from appointments, activity and social programs, etc., as necessary.* Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.* Answer resident calls promptly.* Assist residents to walk with or without self-help devices as instructed.* Measure and record temperatures, pulse, and respirations (TPRs), as instructed.* Check residents routinely to assure that their personal care needs are being met.* Assist with the application of slings, elastic bandages, binders, etc.* Provide daily Range of Motion Exercises. Record data as instructed.* Report all hazardous conditions and equipment to the Charge/Staff Nurse immediately.* Follow established safety precautions in the performance of all duties.* Clean, disinfect, and return all resident care equipment to its designated storage area after each use.* Perform routine housekeeping duties (i.e., clean bedrails, overbed table, night stands, etc., that relate to nursing care procedures).* Other duties as assigned*We are committed to offering quality, cost-effective benefits choices for our employees and their families:** Day ONE medical, dental and life insurance benefits* Health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts (FSAs)* Employees are eligible for enrollment into the 403(b) match plan day one.
