Outpatient Rehab Therapy Coder

Job Description:

A company is looking for an Outpatient Rehab Therapy Coder.
Key Responsibilities:

Review documentation to identify billable procedures and services, ensuring accurate coding and charging
Perform ICD-10-CM diagnostic, CPT, and HCPCS procedural coding
Consult with physicians and clinical department representatives to verify services and assist with coding

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent
AHIMA or AAPC coding certification
2 years experience as a certified coder with specialized experience in Outpatient Coding
Experience with EHR systems and electronic encoder software
Understanding of charging and revenue integrity
