Job Description
The NIH-funded Mutant Mouse Resource & Research Center (MMRRC) and
Rat Resource & Research Center (RRRC) serve as unique repositories
for rodent models that are important to the biomedical community.
The mission of these Centers is to supply biomedical investigators
with mice and rats, embryonic stem cells, related reagents,
protocols, and technical services that they require for their

The MMRRC and the RRRC are currently seeking a Research/ Lab
Technician Senior to join their team to support a range of
repository and research initiatives. The position requires a
detail-oriented person who can perform hands on rodent colony work
as well as relevant data entry. In addition to routine animal
husbandry work, this position will also involve rodent breeding,
weaning, sample collection, data entry and colony record
maintenance. The position requires knowledge of and thorough
compliance with all biosecurity measures that are critical for
Resource Center operations.

Salary
Starting Salary Range: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
GGS Grade: 006

Shift
Monday - Friday with some scheduled weekend work necessary. 8:00
a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of
experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be
acquired is necessary
