Oncology Competitive compensation and generous benefits package Board Certified or Eligible Hematology Oncologist or Medical Oncologist Program is led by a Radiation Oncologist and incudes 7 Hematology Oncologists and one other Radiation Oncologist M-TH 8 AM -4:30 PM; Friday 8 AM - 1 PM Mix of seeing patients in clinic and medical oversight of infusion suite Call 1 in 7 (full week with minimal to no time in the outpatient clinic); APPs take first call except for ER calls Clinical research is encouraged, where all physicians have a hand in at least one trial Twice a week tumor conferences; Approximately 10 tumor board conferences per month Affiliated with Duke Health and has been awarded Cancer Center of Excellence by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer and are the only QOPI certified practice in the region 60,000 square foot space with outpatient dispensing pharmacy and infusion center Moderately complex laboratory and radiology team with state-of-the-art equipment including GE 64 slice CT scanner and GE 5 ring PET scanner 3 IV infusion pharmacists and 1 dedicated outpatient dispensing pharmacist Most lab work can be completed onsite, with a tube system, and results between 20-40 minutes of the draw depending on the exam Network includes five community medical centers and more than 6,500 health care employeesA vibrant community with something for everyone Great school system Close proximity to major metro areas and airport Short drive to Pristine lake with boating, water sports Traveling art and symphony shows Charming downtown with historic homes Growing and economically stable community Experience all four seasons, excellent cost of living and affordable lake homes Fine dining and local cuisineRebecca ThawDirect / Fax:Cell / Text: Mention Code 210603 - ONMinimum Requirements:MD or DO Medical DegreeEligible to be state licensed in the United StatesUnited States Residency and / or Fellowship trainingMust be Board Eligible and/or Board Certified in the US
