Overview
Hotel Columbia - Telluride
Are you ready to help shape the future of travel and hospitality? CoralTree is seeking an exceptional Innkeeper/General Manager to join us at the Hotel Columbia - Telluride. As the Innkeeper/General Manager, you will shape the culture of the property and oversee all operations departments including sales and marketing, engineering, and human resources. This role will embrace and promote the property's vision and service culture, fostering unity and teamwork among all employees. Located in downtown Telluride on the San Miguel River at the base of the world-famous Telluride Ski Resort, the Hotel Columbia boasts Telluride's premier ski in/ski out location. The 21-room boutique property is also home to Tellurides #1 rated restaurant, Cosmopolitan.
Responsibilities
In this role, you'll:

  • Achieve financial goals and expectations as established in the annual business plan for all areas of responsibility.
  • Provide innovative and creative thinking to effectively differentiate the property and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Consistently delivery accurate forecasting projections and implement effective adjustments as required to ensure profit integrity.
  • Represent the property in the local community, regionally, and nationally to position it effectively and take advantage of public relations opportunities.
  • Ensure the property is operated safely and securely according to property and company standards.
  • Behave with the highest ethical standards and inspire trust with all constituencies.
  • Attract and retain high-performing talent and drive continuous learning and career development.
  • Manage organizational change productively and empower talented people to balance the needs of the ownership group, guests, and other team members.
  • Implement and maintain a guest service-focused culture with a goal of creating long-term relationships.
  • Create strategic alignment between the ownership group, CoralTree, and the property.
  • Motivate a sales team and understand and direct public relations opportunities.
  • Develop annual business plans and budgets and effectively monitor performance against plan. Qualifications
    The ideal candidate will be:
    • Experienced with at least 2 years of senior level property management (General Manager, Assistant Director of Rooms, Assistant Director of Housekeeping, etc.).
    • Educated with a Bacherlor's Degree, preferred.
    • Hands-on with the ability to encourage and lead a team by example.
    • Creative, enthusiastic, and flexible.
    • Personable, with the ability to effectively communicate to ownership, guests, and team members.
    • Proficient in computer programs such as Word and Excel. As a valued member of the CoralTree team, you'll receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

          Salary Range: $80,000 - $85,000 annually + 35% Bonus
