Job Description:

Oversees the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes, and operations for new and existing products. Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs. Acts as liaison with engineering in releasing new products. Develops systems to maintain reports and record keeping of company products. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Duties & Responsibilities

• Employ LEAN manufacturing principles to champion a culture improvement in the elements of Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Cost Reduction amongst staff.
• Coordinate the development and implementation of methods, processes, fixtures, and equipment for product assembly.
• Coordinate the development and implementation of manufacturing tests, controls, systems, databases.
• Develop and implement capacity plans to meet demand.
• Provide direction to Research and Development regarding the release of new products, enhancements of existing products, design concepts and specification requirements.
• Schedule and coordinate the building of engineering models, prototypes and units for new product introductions.
• Manage Cap Ex Budget and adherence to it for the function.
• Evolve approaches in line with latest technologies and methods.
• Cultivate staff for continual growth and optimal performance.
  Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field. Advanced Degree preferred
  Experience: 5+ years of Engineering experience. Management or Leadership experience. People Management skills are preferred.
