As a Channel Development Manager, you will manage a number of North of England Channel partner accounts, with a view to generating and winning new sales opportunities, as well as retaining existing revenue.Key Responsibilities:Develop pipeline, set strategy for accounts, opportunities and issue resolution Identify training and development requirementsAttend regular client meetings and present to stakeholders, from IT manager to board room levelClearly articulate and present the Nimans/Beyond Connectivity strategy into our existing clients and the wider marketEngage and liaise with the wider business to help win opportunities and resolve client issuesGather and submit weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports to line managementEnsure the pipeline/CRM system is updatedCreate and drive cross sell/up sell opportunities into accountsManage own quota of key accounts and ensure they are retained and developedEnsure the company is positively represented at all timesWork towards a set of monthly/quarterly KPIsWork alongside, and feed into, product and marketing propositions/campaignsAny other duties as necessary for the role.Qualifications / Relevant Experience:Excellent sales track record of exceeding targets within your current role and/or wider telecoms industryEvidence of sales achievement through organic customer growth and via new client acquisitionExperience of both large strategic sales and smaller tactical salesA strong understanding and demonstrable experience in selling a wide selection of products from the Nimans/Beyond Connectivity portfolio including voice, mobile, data, DSL, managed IP solutions, managed hostingExperience in writing high revenue and clear value add proposalsExtensive experience in key account management/sales within telecoms/data industryExperience of leading virtual teams in the successful pursuit of regular contracts.Essential Skills:The gravitas to operate confidently with senior clients, whilst retaining relationships at an operational levelDemonstrable skills in account development, sales strategy, qualification techniques and business case developmentStrong negotiation skillsWell-developed client management and presentation skills, with evidence of strong relationship building at all levelsThe ability and desire to make a major positive impact on the business unitGood strategic planning and time management skillsAn enthusiastic and positive approach Ability to motivate oneself and a virtual team.What's in it for you?A great team to work collaboratively withExcellent training in our products, services and industry, with a focus on self-developmentWe'll support your career goals and help you achieve your true potentialLots of company benefits, rewards, recognition and more.Interested?If you want to join a growing, successful and stable business that can offer an exciting career, click apply now to submit your application and we'll be in touch.All candidates must have the right to work in the UK.We are an equal opportunities employer.Please note all roles that move to offer are subject to receipt of satisfactory references and an identity check.We will be moving to interview and selection quickly so please don't wait until the deadline to get your application in!
