Job Description:
Joye Law Firm is a growing plaintiff law firm with a focus on
Personal Injury and Workers Compensation. JLF is seeking to add an
experienced Litigation Case Manager to our growing Columbia office.
The right candidate will be ready and able to provide world-class
client service in a professional and empathetic and ethical manner

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Receives and returns client's calls, faxes and emails within 24
hours.
Reviews file once transferred into litigation to ensure all
necessary information has been obtained to include, but not limited
to, medical records, medical bills, and any applicable health
insurance liens.
Responsible for drafting and/or revising documents independently
and/or as directed by supervising attorneys including, but not
limited to, discovery requests/responses, deposition notices,
subpoenas, trial pleadings, exhibit preparation, and settlement
documents in a timely fashion.
Keep thorough documentation of notes in Needles and complete
various tasks as assigned by attorneys in a timely fashion.
Manage the scheduling of attorney calendars by sending requests for
client meetings, doctor meetings, depositions, mediations,
hearings, etc.
Manage the retrieval of necessary medical records by following
procedures, documenting the record type and time period for which
records are needed.
Maintain custody of the physical file. File and update records,
correspondence and file documents in an orderly and organized
manner per established office procedures. Maintain a clean and
orderly work area.

Qualifications:

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,
operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to
speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of
organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of
measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and
interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out
instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability
to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in
standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have
knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Outlook and Needles Case
Management software.
Education/Experience:
Associate's degree (A. A. / A. S.) or equivalent from two-year
college or technical school; or three to four years related
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education
and experience.
