Overview of PositionThe Senior Site Reliability (SRE) Manager will lead globally distributed team responsible for various aspects of Change Healthcare Cloud operations including design, implementation, automation and support of large-scale distributed systems. Will also provide technical leadership to major projects and detailed plans to implement new technologies and configurations. Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) applies Software Engineering techniques and discipline to production operations to resolve reliability and performance issues and fix them for good. SRE adds nines to our already well-engineered and highly reliable software products supporting Change Healthcare customers and partners. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, articulate, have experience managing SRE or DevOps teams and comfortable working in a fast-paced software development environment. The primary mission as an SRE Senior Manager is working closely with the Operations, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Product Management teams, to ensure the uptime and performance of Change Healthcare platforms.What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

• Manage a team of globally distributed Site Reliability Engineers supporting Change Healthcare Cloud, a mission critical, platform in production and development environments
• Identify and drive improvements in infrastructure and system reliability, performance, monitoring, and overall stability of the platform
• Own the implementation, 24x7x365 availability and performance of Change Healthcare Cloud applications
• Partner with internal Business and Technical teams to deliver the expected uptime and performance
• Grow the team by hiring the best Engineers and Technical Leaders
• Help Site Reliability Engineers develop their careers through personal and performance management
• Foster an environment of continuous learning which builds excellent Engineering and Operational skillsets What are the requirements needed for this position?
  • 10+ years combined experience as a Software Engineer or DevOps Engineer/SRE
  • 5+ years experience managing teams of varying sizes and time zones with at least 5 years of supporting production in a SaaS multi-tenant environment
  • Demonstrated experience automating and improving infrastructure/application systems deployment and configuration processes
  • Expert managing AWS services, cost and reporting
  • Experience leading large initiatives with the ability to course correct as needed and evaluate current technical approaches to continue to be industry best-of-class
  • Experience working with teams, providing mentorship and guidance to improve the overall reliability of the ecosystem
  • Substantial experience in many of the following technologies, with demonstrated expertise and the capacity to lead complex technical implementations:
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) like EC2, EBS, ELB, S3, Route 53, RDS, Redshift and EMR in a highly available and scalable production environment
  • Continuous Integration and Deployment automation tools such as Jenkins, Harness, AWS CloudFormation, Salt, or Puppet, Chef, Ansible
  • SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) based databases
  • Open source technologies (Kafka, Hadoop, HBase, Zookeeper, Oozie)
  • Networks (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, Load Balancing)What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?
