Non-Destructive Inspection Engineer/Technician will provide
specialized nondestructive inspection (NDI/NDT) expertise to
support advanced manufacturing and repair operations. This role
focuses on the inspection of additively manufactured metal
components, with particular emphasis on combustion and hot gas path
components used in gas turbine applications. The individual will
collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to
develop, validate, and execute inspection strategies for complex
geometries typical of additive manufacturing. Responsibilities also
include supporting emergent repair inspections, post-additive
machining inspections, and contributing to the advancement of
innovative inspection technologies. The role requires strong
communication skills, technical documentation capabilities, and
hands-on experience with multiple inspection modalities. Must-Haves
(Required Qualifications) 4 years of experience in nondestructive
inspection engineering or technician roles Familiarity with ASNT
standards Demonstrated hands?on experience inspecting additively
manufactured metal components Experience developing, validating,
documenting, and applying inspection methods for complex geometries
and materials Proficiency with nondestructive inspection modalities
(CT, X?ray, Ultrasonic, CMM, Blue Light scanning) Experience
supporting inspections for additive component qualification,
eEmergent repair activities, post?additive machining operations
Plusses (Preferred Qualifications) Level I certification in
Computed Tomography (CT) and Penetrant Inspection Experience in
turbine, power generation, or other high?reliability manufacturing
environments Participation in technology development initiatives
for advanced nondestructive inspection techniques Familiarity with
engineering and inspection tools such as NX, AutoCAD, GOM
Inspection modeling tools (e.g., CIVA) Experience assisting with
project planning, including inspection resource needs and timelines
Experience leading or participating in technical review and
planning meetings
