Job Description Job Description Junior / Mid Level Project Manager – Electrical Power Projects Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: Competitive base performance incentives benefits Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Junior / Mid Level Project Manager to lead complex electrical power equipment projects from order handoff through delivery and commissioning. This role is responsible for managing schedules, budgets, technical coordination, and customer communication for custom-engineered electrical systems, including power transformers, medium-voltage switchgear, and integrated distribution solutions . The ideal candidate brings a strong background in electrical infrastructure projects , thrives in fast-paced manufacturing or EPC-adjacent environments, and understands how to balance engineering requirements, production timelines, and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Own full project lifecycle execution for electrical power equipment projects, from contract kickoff through final delivery and closeout Act as the primary point of contact for customers, internal engineering teams, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics Manage project schedules, budgets, milestones, and risk mitigation plans to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery Coordinate technical scope related to power transformers, switchgear, and electrical distribution assemblies , ensuring alignment with customer specifications Facilitate internal design reviews and cross-functional coordination to resolve scope, material, or production constraints Track and manage change orders, scope adjustments, and commercial impacts throughout project execution Ensure compliance with applicable standards such as ANSI, IEEE, NEMA, NEC , and customer-specific requirements Support factory testing, inspections, and delivery logistics as needed Proactively identify project risks and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and quality Maintain clear project documentation, reporting, and executive-level communication Required Qualifications 2 years of experience in project management within electrical, power, industrial, or manufacturing environments Proven track record managing technically complex, made-to-order or engineered equipment projects Strong working knowledge of power transformers, switchgear, or electrical distribution systems Experience coordinating engineering, manufacturing, and external stakeholders Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage customer expectations and executive updates Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects Preferred Qualifications Background supporting transformer manufacturing, electrical OEMs, EPC firms, or power infrastructure suppliers Experience with factory acceptance testing (FAT), logistics coordination, and field support activities PMP or equivalent project management certification Familiarity with utility, data center, industrial, or renewable power projects Why Join This Opportunity This role offers the chance to lead high-impact electrical power projects that support critical infrastructure across utility, industrial, and commercial markets.
