1st shift; Up to $220k Job Description We are seeking a dedicated
and experienced Regional Automation Engineer to support and
optimize our material handling control systems across multiple
sites. This role involves significant travel and requires expertise
in troubleshooting, programming, and managing automation systems.
Responsibilities Travel to over seven sites to support automation
systems. Understand and troubleshoot material handling control
systems, including PLC/PC controllers, industrial networks
(Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus, Profinet, ASi), motor
control systems, servo drives, frequency drives, and electrical
distribution systems. Apply Subject Matter Expertise to
troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues, supporting onsite
automation engineers to identify root causes and plan actions to
minimize downtime of critical assets. Program and source code for
in-house solutions based on PLC or PC controllers and SCADA/OEE
platforms. Develop solutions related to Automation Systems. Manage
large-scale projects, coordinating with site-based Automation
Engineers to achieve business goals. Create, optimize, and monitor
Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to control the efficiency,
availability, and quality of machines, generating reports for
improvement. Communicate with vendors and leadership to plan and
coordinate technical resolutions for local or network-wide issues.
Provide technical guidance and decision-making for collaboration
projects or initiatives with other teams, acting as a key
stakeholder in supporting technical and major network support
requests. Provide 24/7 on-call rotational support for hardware and
software systems across multiple sites. Travel up to 80%. Essential
Skills Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical
engineering, automation engineering, or equivalent, or 7 years of
PLC programming or automation engineering experience. Flexible
schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays. 7 years of
experience in industrial controls and automation. 7 years of
experience in PLC-controlled automation and issue diagnosis in
process or production environments. 7 years of experience with
robotics work cells and control systems. 7 years of experience with
Siemens, Allen-Bradley or Codesys Ladder Logic and structured
programming. 7 years of experience in electrical theory, robotics,
controls components, and automated equipment. Additional Skills &
Qualifications Advanced degree in computer science, electrical
engineering, or automation engineering. Experience with HMI and
control network components, including maintenance, troubleshooting,
programming, and design. Experience with programming software such
as RSLogix5000, Studio 5000, FT View, and other controls software
platforms. MBA or other Master’s degree and/or Six Sigma Black Belt
Certification is a plus. Experience in manufacturing or complex

out of Greenwood, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this
position is $186000.00 - $214000.00/yr. Base salary o Sign-on bonus
split over first two years (split evenly in their paychecks) • RSU
(Restricted Stock Units) grant over 4 years with a backloaded
vesting schedule o RSU Vesting Schedule: ? Year 1: 5% (split
between 6 and 12 months) ? Year 2: 15% ? Year 3: 40% ? Year 4: 40%
