We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician (Direct Hire) to play a critical role in the installation, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and finish work of aircraft interior components. This position is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience working in fast-paced aviation environments. Associate's Degree in a related technical field is preferred. Work Experience - Technical Knowledge Minimum of 2 years of Field Service experience related to troubleshooting and repairs is required. Professional Skills (Ability to apply knowledge and experience on the job) Strong natural mechanical aptitude with both hand and power tools. Basic working knowledge of CMMs, engineering drawings, and other technical documentation . Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications. Physical Demands Must be able to work in confined aircraft cabin spaces and restricted areas. Requires frequent kneeling, crouching, bending, reaching, and prolonged standing. Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 40 lbs independently and handle tools and components in tight spaces. Strong dexterity, coordination, and visual acuity required for detailed mechanical work and reading technical drawings. Work Environment Work is performed in aircraft production, completion, and maintenance hangars , and occasionally on active flight lines or customer sites. Environment may include elevated noise, power tools, pneumatic equipment, and varying temperatures in non-climate-controlled areas. PPE may be required.
