Job Description:

Infosys is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer, candidate is responsible for maintaining and monitoring end-user workstations and productivity. This position performs a variety of maintenance, software installations, and break-fix support tasks to ensure end-users are capable performing the tasks required to complete their work.

Required Qualifications:

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC, Chesapeake, VA and Tempe, AZ, Indian Land, SC or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

Experience on administering end-user workstations and supports end-user activities on a primarily Microsoft Windows-based domain.
Experience working in ticketing systems.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software products.

Investigates user problems and identifies their source; determines possible solutions within company guidelines; tests and implements solutions.
Candidate will Install, configure and maintain computers for new employees as well as file servers, and other related equipment, devices, systems and printers
Performs and/or oversees software and application installation and upgrades
Troubleshoots network issues in remote locations.
Excellent communication skills including written and verbal; ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.

Preferred Qualifications:

The IT Support Associate role focuses on deploying, configuring, and maintaining company PC's/ laptops, and helping users resolve issues with various IT equipment and services.
Works in Active Directory to fix account issues, lockouts, and perform password resets.
Candidate will provide end user support to an internal client base of 4000+ users and will recondition returned laptops.
Willingness and flexibility to learn new technologies, scale up quickly and adapt to different roles as the situation demands.
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
