global and societal needs. About the Opportunity Bouvé College of
Health Sciences invites applications to one position at the rank of
Assistant Teaching Professor/Associate Teaching Professor/Full
Teaching Professor and Associate Director of MS in Health
Informatics Program. This position reflects the interdisciplinary
nature of the health informatics profession. The person who fills
this role must have a demonstrated ability to work across all
disciplines in healthcare to ensure that the healthcare technology
supports the highest level of patient outcomes. All qualified

the law. Responsibilities Responsibilities will include: · Teaching
and participating in departmental, college, and university service.
· With guidance from and collaboration with the Program Director
and collaboration from the Associate Program Directors in Boston
and Vancouver, take a leadership role in the preparation of the
launch of the MS in Health Informatics with AI concentration in
Charlotte. The success of our Boston program and establishing the
program in Vancouver provide valuable experience to draw from in
this process. · With collaboration and assistance from existing
faculty and staff at the Charlotte campus and the leadership of the
Health Informatics program in Northeastern’s Global Network, engage
in extensive networking in the greater Charlotte area to establish
or further leverage relationships to build a base of prospective
student applicants, teaching faculty to instruct in the program and
partnerships with the local healthcare systems to spread word about
the program. · Manage program administrative activities; advise
students on academic and curriculum/registration issues; serve as
liaison between the program and University offices that handle
matters pertaining to graduate students and matters pertaining to
the program; attend all relevant committee meetings. · Manage
admissions process for the Charlotte campus, including answering
inquiries, supporting completion of applications, and processing of
applications. · Advise on Charlotte capstone projects. · Coordinate
with marketing groups; recruit students to program; maintain
presence at events for recruitment. · As one of the administrative
contacts for all program related matters, will communicate with and
maintain contact with prospective, new, and current program
graduate students and matters pertaining to the program. · As
required, assist in preparing and managing annual and multi-year
enrollment projections and work with the Director in executing the
program budget, staffing approved program courses and evaluating
and updating program offerings as needed. · Teaching faculty are
encouraged to engage in research and scholarly activity.
Qualifications · Doctoral degree. · Minimum of eight years of
experience in the healthcare ecosystem. Experience with AI,
analytics, or digital transformation in healthcare systems ·
Minimum of two years of experience teaching in higher education. ·
Individual must have strong communication skills (verbal and
written), strong project management skills, and proven experience
with spreadsheets and databases. Must have expertise working
independently and as a member of a team. Additional Information

Pay Range: Assistant Teaching Professor: $73,000.00 - $88,000.00 |
Associate Teaching Professor: $84,000.00 - $104,000.00 | Teaching
Professor: $107,000.00 - $120,000.00 With the pay range(s) shown
above, the starting salary will depend on several factors, which
may include your education, experience, location, knowledge and
expertise, and skills as well as a pay comparison to
similarly-situated employees already in the role. Salary ranges are
reviewed regularly and are subject to change.
