Job Description Job Description Salary: PURPOSE: The Greenville
Chamber is looking for a LaunchGVL Director who is accountable for
the leadership, development, and operational management of the
Chambers talent and workforce initiative LaunchGVL. This role
oversees program delivery, employer and education partnerships,
performance outcomes, and staff or contractor support, ensuring
high-quality paid, work-based learning experiences (internships)
that expand career exposure for high school students while
strengthening a sustainable talent pipeline for local employers.

Inspire positivity Value Difference RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan and
execute day to day responsibilities for the LaunchGVL Program.
Guide and assist other LaunchGVL staff as needed, ensuring success
of the Program. Manage relationships with education and non-profit
partners. In partnership with the VP, engage in strategic visioning
for the program. Develop resources and provide employer support to
create meaningful work-based learning opportunities. Support
program expansion in collaboration with the VP. Implement
strategies to scale LaunchGVL Oversee the data collection and
evaluation of the program to include tracking and measuring program
success using qualitative and quantitative metrics. Know and
support the Chambers Mission, Vision, and Values. Collaborate with
and support other Talent and Leadership Team members and their
work. Coordinate and execute promotional events and interview days.
Develop partnerships with local organizations, businesses, and
educational institutions to enhance program offerings. Other duties
as assigned. EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in related fields such as
higher education administration, counseling, or social work
preferred EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Four years of professional
experience in education or administration. Some understanding of
the K-16 educational system, Career and Technical Education, and
area workforce development Ability to work with individuals with
varied backgrounds, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds, skill
sets, and abilities. Strong public speaking skills. Excellent
written and verbal communication ability. Strong time management
skills. Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration between Key
Industry Members, Chamber Staff,Chamber Members, and Community
Leaders. Ability to plan, organize and execute at a high level.
Ability to work independently with little supervision. Ability to
be flexible regarding business hours and accepting new
responsibilities. TECHNICAL SKILLS: Proficient user knowledge of
computer operation and systems, specifically MS Office products.
Experience working with Salesforce and other database programs and
maintaining information Experience utilizing social media to
promote programming is preferred. Awareness of cyber threats and
prevention measures regarding cyber security breaches and ensures
LaunchGVL staff are kept up to date in any training provided by the
Chamber regarding cyber security. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requirements generally occurring in an office environment,
including but not limited to keyboarding, file retrieval, and
communicating. Some lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds and 100
feet. Ability to drive and work extended hours. Willingness and
ability to take prospects and members to various entertainment
venues for the purposes of marketing the Chamber and/or Greenville.
Office-based with regular local travel to program events and
community meetings. Evening and weekend availability may be
required for events and networking opportunities. The Greenville
