Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A full-time Special Education teaching opportunity is
available within Charleston County, SC, serving students in
kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract role spans from ASAP
through May 29, 2026, with assignments at two distinct schools:
Liberty Hill Academy and Ladson Elementary School. Responsibilities
include providing specialized instruction and support to students
with diverse learning needs. At Liberty Hill Academy, the focus is
on students with intellectual disabilities and autism in a
challenging classroom setting, supported by a teaching assistant, a
registered behavior technician (RBT), and an on-site BCBA. Ladson
Elementary involves resource teaching duties tailored to meet
individual student goals. Qualified candidates must possess an
active South Carolina Special Education teaching license, with a
preference for multi-categorical licensure. Experience working with
students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and managing
behavioral challenges is strongly preferred. This position demands
a compassionate and adaptive approach to teaching, along with the
ability to collaborate closely with support staff and therapists.
Key qualifications and desired experience: - Active South Carolina
Special Education Teacher licensure required; multi-categorical
