Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A Special Education Teacher opportunity is available in
Summerville, SC, within a K-12 school setting. This full-time,
contract position runs from ASAP until May 29, 2026, serving
students in need of specialized educational support.
Responsibilities include: - Providing instruction and support to
students with intellectual disabilities and autism. - Collaborating
with a teaching assistant and a Registered Behavior Technician
(RBT) in a classroom setting. - Working closely with a Board
Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior plans. -
Designing and adapting lessons to meet the diverse learning needs
of students. - Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate
records. Key qualifications: - Active South Carolina State
Licensure for Special Education Teaching. - Multi-Categorical
Licensure is preferred. - Experience working with students
diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage challenging behaviors and foster a
positive learning environment. - Strong communication and
collaboration skills. This assignment involves supporting two
school locations: Liberty Hill Academy as an Autism Teacher, and
Ladson Elementary School as a Resource Teacher. Benefits of this
