Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a
contract starting March 2 at an elementary school in Lexington, NC.
This onsite role supports general education students with
articulation and fluency challenges. The caseload consists of
approximately 50 students, and another SLP is on site to assist
with severe needs. Preferred qualifications include a Certificate
of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP),
although new graduates will also be considered. The position runs
through the current school year (CSY), providing valuable
experience in a supportive setting. Key Responsibilities: Provide
speech-language therapy focusing on articulation and fluency in
general education students Collaborate with school staff and
another SLP to support student progress Maintain accurate records
and documentation of speech therapy sessions Participate in team
meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence in
Speech-Language Pathology preferred; new graduates welcomed
Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school
setting Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to deliver
