Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support a K-12 educational setting in Irmo, SC. This contract position spans the current school year, providing services onsite to students with diverse communication needs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language assessments, evaluations, and individualized therapy plans for students. Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary. Attend IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise to educational planning. Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations pertaining to special education services. Qualifications and Experience: Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working as an SLP within school settings (K-12) is preferred. Strong understanding of speech and language development, disorders, and interventions. Ability to manage a caseload effectively while maintaining accurate records. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Location: Irmo, South Carolina (on-site work) Work Schedule: Approximately 35 hours per week during the school year, with the contract ending May 29, 2026.
