A full-time opportunity is available for an experienced audiologist to provide services for K-12 students within a school district in the Virginia Beach area. This contract position runs from January 5, 2026, through June 16, 2026, requiring 37.5 hours per week. The role involves itinerant work across multiple school locations, offering hearing exams and assisting in the development of the districts audiology program, which was previously managed by an external clinic. Key Responsibilities: Conduct hearing evaluations and screenings for students across K-12 grade levels. Collaborate with school staff to support the auditory needs of students. Develop and implement an audiology services program tailored to the districts requirements. Manage caseload and coordinate services between various schools within the district. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant state and federal regulations. Qualifications and Experience: PhD in Audiology is required. Active state Audiologist license. Proven ability to work independently and handle itinerant assignments. Previous experience in school settings preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and educators. Location: Virginia Beach Area, Virginia (Itinerant position requiring travel to multiple schools). This position is strictly on-site; remote or hybrid arrangements will not be considered. Candidates must be available for the full contract dates.
