Job Description:
MV Transportation, Inc., a leader in providing public
transportation services, is seeking a dedicated Fleet Maintenance
Manager to oversee and enhance the maintenance operations of our
diverse fleet. This position is critical in ensuring the
reliability and safety of our services, fulfilling our commitment
to delivering efficient transportation solutions. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of fleet
maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and
leading continuous improvement initiatives in the maintenance
department. Oversee the daily operations of the fleet maintenance
department, including staff management, scheduling, and workflow
organization. Develop and implement maintenance procedures and
performance metrics to ensure service efficiency and reliability.
Manage budgets, including forecasting, tracking maintenance costs,
and ensuring cost-effective practices. Coordinate with other
departments to optimize fleet performance and integrate new
vehicles and technologies. Lead, recruit, and train maintenance
staff, promoting a culture of safety and excellence. Ensure
compliance with all transportation safety and regulation standards.
Regularly report on maintenance operations and improvements to
senior management. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Expertise in vehicle and equipment maintenance protocols and
practices. Proficiency in maintenance management software and
tools. Ability to design and implement effective maintenance
schedules and procedures. Solid financial acumen for managing
budgets. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) Certification from the
National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)
