Job Summary
Coordinates and implements marketing activities within branch locations in designated area.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions

  • Contributes to marketing calendar submitting local events, ads, sponsorships and other marketing activities at branch locations.
  • Works with branch and area leadership and region Field Marketing Specialist to plan local co-op fund activities.
  • Gathers all receipts and necessary documentation from local activities for Field Marketing Specialist to file claims.
  • Creates proposals and customer presentations for local sales teams.
  • Manages local association needs, including ads and events.
  • Coordinates local vendor training schedules for area.
  • Executes area and branch customer events (ex. Counter days, open house, job site events, customer outings, etc.).
  • Coordinates area sales planning to include planning and execution of annual Sales Planning summit, area workshop(s) and sales readouts.
  • Ensures promotional and marketing materials are available to local branch locations and sales teams.
  • Execute all other field marketing activities within area. Non-essential Functions
    • Monitors city desk locations within area to ensure merchandising and marketing efforts are being executed and consistent standards in place.
    • Assists in company public relations efforts seeking out potential news releases, social media content, and other opportunities within our branch locations.
    • Regular site visits amongst branch locations in area.
    • Submits local activities to Digital Marketing Specialist for social media (volunteer efforts, community involvement, events, etc.). Qualifications
      • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field or equivalent work experience.
      • 1+ years of experience in marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, or business-related field.
      • Experience planning and executing events.
      • Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint).
      • Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) and other graphic software a plus.
      • Web design, HTML, CSS, Premiere, Flash skills a plus. Skills and Abilities
        • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain an upbeat and positive attitude under pressure.
        • Strong project management and organizational skills.
        • Ability to prioritize, multitask and work with minimal supervision.
        • Attention to detail.
