Your Key Responsibilities Perform a full range of customs
activities for assigned entities or areas of expertise, in order to
comply with customs law and optimize the customs position.
Responsible for a designated customs area/topic and for providing
support to the organization, and ensure compliance with agreed
standards and processes. Assess business models and projects and
provide advice to management on related matters. Carry out
investigations into customs issues and correspond with governmental
revenue agencies, auditing entry data and communicating with
customer brokers. Evaluate compliance performance/risk exposure and
initiate appropriate actions. Manage completion of customs
forecasts and related tasks. Performs tasks such as HTS
classification, Preference calculations, Duty drawback, and
Optimization and supervision of any customs exemptions . Develop
duty optimization strategies. Your Qualifications Graduate Degree
in Business Administration, Customs and Trade. 3 to 5 years of
experience in a related role (Entry writer, CHB, Trade compliance).
Proven experience in customs operations, trade compliance, or
customs brokerage within an international business environment.
In-depth knowledge of customs laws, regulations, and procedures
relevant to the designated areas or topics. Experience performing
customs classification (HTS), preference ruling calculations, duty
drawback processes, and managing customs exemptions. Demonstrated
ability to develop and implement duty optimization strategies and
compliance improvement measures. Applicants must be authorized to
work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship.
