  • Assists with hiring of Revenue Integrity team members.
  • Coordinates the work of the team and approves time off requests.
  • Mentors, sets goals and manages performance evaluations for Revenue Integrity team staff.
  • Responsible for the development and concurrent review of charge audit, chare capture, reconciliation.
  • Coordinates charge capture improvement and evaluates revenue impact.
  • Engages with department stakeholders to implement process improvement initiatives related to revenue enhancement opportunities.
  • Facilitates collaborative work effort between the Revenue Integrity team and other University Physicians teams.
  • Monitors and assesses integrity risks, and ensures that the revenue integrity program is responsive to those risks
  • Leads regular internal staff meetings
  • Provides periodic reports to the revenue integrity Director regarding the nature, progress, and status of the revenue integrity program, any corrective action being taken, and any recommended changes
  • Ensures staff members are knowledgeable about revenue assurance needs and reimbursement issues identified through audits, reviews, and aggregate data analysis
  • Monitors and reports Return on Investment (ROI) of the Revenue Integrity team. Salary
    Salary Range: $68,266 - $111,426 annually
    Grade: PAT - 010

    This position is eligible for University Physicians work from home program.
    Minimum Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in nursing, medical records, hospital administration, business, finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired.
    Six (6) years of experience in healthcare, specifically on revenue cycle operations, charge master, coding, finance, auditing, or a related area.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Certification in Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Professional Coder-Hospital (CPC-H), Certified
    • Professional Coder-Payer (CPC-P) by American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC); or
    • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) by Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA); or
    • Certified Healthcare Compliance (CHC) by Compliance Certification Board (CCB); or
    • Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT) by American
    • Health Information Management Association (AHIMA); or
    • Missouri Board of Nursing RN/LPN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN/LPN; or
    • Other registered health technician such as Respiratory Therapists, Radiology Technicians etc. Application Materials
